Returns, Cancellations and Refunds

Your right to cancel

If you are a consumer buying online, you may have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason, subject to any legal exceptions.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must contact us by a clear written statement before the 14-day period expires. You may do this by email at info@meenaessentials.com or by filling up the contact form on Contact us page.

You may also use the model cancellation form at the end of these Terms, although this is not required.

Returning the goods

If you cancel your order, you must send the goods back to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days after telling us you wish to cancel.

Unless the item is faulty, incorrect, damaged on arrival, or we agree otherwise, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.

We recommend using a tracked postal or courier service and keeping proof of postage.

Condition of returned items

We are happy to accept returns within 14 days where the item is returned in the same condition as purchased, subject to your right to inspect the goods as you would in a shop.

Returned items should be:

  • unworn and unused beyond what is necessary to inspect them
  • unwashed
  • free from stains, odours, smoke, perfume and damage
  • returned with tags, packaging and accessories where possible

If the goods show signs of use or handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, we may make a deduction from the refund to reflect the diminished value of the goods.

Refunds

If you validly cancel your order, we will refund:

  • the price paid for the returned goods, and
  • the basic standard delivery charge paid for the original order, where legally required

We do not refund any upgraded or express delivery charges unless required by law.

Refunds will be made to your original payment method.

We will process the refund within 14 days of receiving your cancellation request, but we may withhold the refund until we receive the goods back or you provide evidence that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier.

Items that may not be returned

The right to cancel may not apply to certain items, including where legally exempt, such as:

  • personalised or custom-made items
  • sealed items that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons if unsealed after delivery
  • any other items excluded by applicable consumer law

If any such exclusions apply to a product, we will try to make this clear on the product page or before checkout.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

If an item arrives faulty, damaged, incorrect, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible at info@meenaessentials.com with your order number, a description of the issue and photographs where possible.

Where required by law, we will offer an appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.
